Making Rewana bread
At the end of Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori Mrs Carter decided to try this new recipe for the first time at home in lockdown.
Rewana bread is so tasty, it was very popular with her whanau and they enjoyed eating this kai!

Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori!
Nau mai, haere mai welcome to Maori Language week. Have you tried this new game which encourages you to learn new words in Te Reo Maori? It is really fun and can be found on our Team 2 site in the Creative Writing folder. We are singing a new Waiata every morning at our Team Rua Assembly! Does your whanau have something to share this week? Can your Nanni make Rewana bread and do you know the recipe? Ka kite, from Mrs Carter.

Matariki Day
Mrs Carter brought some clay for tamariki to make mini waka and then decorate them with small colured stones and pebbles. We also used toothpicks to represent the oars. Kapai mahi tatou!
