Rippa rugby skills for the Juniors!

Rm 24 enjoyed learning some new ball passing, holding and running skills from Coach Cory from Varsity rugby club at school today. I wonder who is going to join our school sports team next term?

Purple Day!

On Friday 26th March it was mufti day at school. We wore something purple to acknowledge National Epilepsy awareness. Team 2 looked fantastic in all their purple outfits. What a great looking bunch of children you all are!

Inquiry movie for PENN

Rm 24 have been learning all about "Cherish our Treasures" and Tiaki Taonga so far this term with the school picnic, being at home for level 3 lockdown and joining in Google Meets. We also wanted to say a special thank you to all our parent helpers for their support with our online learning.

Team 2 Google Meets

Wow Team 2, all of your teachers were so happy to see your smiley faces on our Google Meet! There was even some new faces today. Ms Gaston presented a new page to show you how to create your own pirate from our Writing page. Don't forget to write a sentence using describing words and give your pirate a name. You can choose a pet for it too. Keep up the awesome home learning everyone. From Mrs Carter.

Back to Level 3 lockdown again!

Kia Ora Rm 24, Well, we are getting used to this online learning, Bubble School and daily Google Meetings now. Ms Gaston read us a story and the children had to answer the questions at the end. Look at Cullai raising his hand to speak! It is so nice being able to connect with you, even if we are stuck at home this week... Take care and stay safe. Ka kite ano, from Mrs Carter.

PES picnic day!

On Friday 26th February our school took a hikoi down to Pt England reserve and joined in with a picnic lunch, swim in the sea with Mrs Carter, play on the beach and time with their whanau! There were so many fun activities to try such as bike riding with Mr J and Ms Tumahai, cricket with Miss Timmy, rippa rugby with Mr Moran, volleyball, softball, walking, making sandcastles, finding crabs, being buried in the sand, playing on the playground and taking turns on the swing. Here are a few photos from the day, thanks to all our parent helpers!

Water safety in Term 1!

Rm 24 have really enjoyed learning how to be safe in the water using noodles and flutter boards! They have also been learning how to float on their back and on their tummies like a starfish! Don't forget to practice your rocket arms too.
